Jerry E. Burdette

Jerry Eugene Burdette, age 72, of Laurel, MD passed away Sunday
morning, November 1,2015, while-receiving health care at Howard County
General Hospital, in Columbia, MD. He became an Angel and went to live
in Heaven.

Born April 12, 1943 in Frederick, MD he was the son of Martin Leo
Burdette and Ruth Virginia (Summers) Burdette. He is preceded in death by
his parents and brother, Ken Burdette.

He is a 1962 graduate of Damascus High School. His profession was a
Creative Printer and his title with the printing company was an offset
stripper. He was retired in his later years. He had a love for old cars, great
music, the Washington Redskins, and Nascar. He was a member of the
Pontiac-Oakland Club International. He was a gentle, loving, kind and all
around wonderful man.

Jerry is survived by his sweetheart and companion Diane Plackett, of
Laurel, MD. He is also survived by his two children that he adored very
much. Jerry Eugene Burdette Jr, of Colorado and Danine Marie Burdette, of
Laurel, MD. His grandchildren, Shane Burdette, Kayleigh Kerbs (Cameron
Kerbs), Elisa Burdette, of Colorado, Cody Wolfe, Elijah "Tony" Perez,
Jeremiah "JJ" Perez, Kristin So (Bennett So) and one great-granddaughter
Charlie Jace So, of Laurel, MD.

Jerry is also survived by his two aunts, Alta Gross, of Westminster, MD.,
and Rosalie May, of Frederick, MD. He is survived by several nieces,
nephews, cousins and many friends.
