Jessica Ruth Noonan Hyslop

Jessica Hyslop, 58, of Laurel, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 after a multi-year battle with cancer. She went home to her Savior while surrounded by her loving husband John and close family.

Born Jessica Ruth Hoagberg on October 7, 1965, to Paul and Ruth (Erickson) Hoagberg, Jessica grew up in Prince George’s County where she attended Laurel High School before enrolling at the University of Maryland. After moving to Minnesota, she graduated from St. Cloud State University before returning to her home state of Maryland where she settled in Frederick County to raise her family with former spouse William Noonan. She was a loving mother and caring homemaker and homeschool mom.

Jessica enjoyed all things creative design: from quilting and painting, to making her own clothes and starting her own business. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and an active member of her local church throughout her life. After meeting her husband John in 2022, Jessica was inducted as a member of the Remnant Daughters Motorcycle Ministry and was involved in cross-country ministry, sharing the Good News with those most in need.

Jessica is survived by her Husband John Hyslop, beloved Daughters Emily (Noonan) Moreland, Molly Noonan , and Casey Noonan; Mother Ruth Rich, Sister Sara (Hoagberg) Keepers, and Brother Matthew Hoagberg; as well as six nieces and nephews, and five grandchildren.

A memorial and celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 1st at The Center Church of Frederick, 5115 Pegasus Ct Suite A, Frederick, MD 21704.
