Joan Marie Hall

Joan Marie Hall, age 85, of Laurel, MD, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Laurel Regional Hospital in Laurel, MD.

Joan was a longtime resident of Maryland City and was employed by the National Security Agency as an Executive Secretary.

Joan was born on January 20, 1929 in South Dakota to the Louis Sowles and the late Mildred (nee Buchana) Sowles. She was living in Oregon before her husband's job brought them to Maryland.

Joan left NSA when her daughter became ill and required her to be a full time caregiver.

Joan was the wife of the late George Hall and is survived by her daughter Lisa Hall. Joan is also survived by her siblings; Robert Sowles, Gary Sowles, William Sowles, Una Usinger and Suzanne SuolA
