Joanne Louise Fairall

Joanne Louise Fairall, wife of the late Robert M. Fairall, died on Saturday March 2, 2019 in Middletown, DE.

She was born February 6, 1937 in Laurel, MD. She was the daughter of the late William C. Tharpe, Sr. and Virginia B. Tharpe.

Joanne was employed and retired from the DC and Federal Governments.

She was extremely generous with her time. She was involved in many organizations, among them were Relay for Life, MOT Sr. Center in Middletown, DE and the Sr. Center in Laurel, MD. She was also a member of The Eastern Star.

Joanne is survived by 2 sons, Ken Fairall and wife Karen, John Fairall and wife Debbie. Grandchildren: Justin, Rebecca and Diana. Nieces and nephews: Sara, Jessica, Cody, Luke and one grand-nephew Landon.

She is also survived by 2 brothers, Bobby and Gary Tharpe and 1 sister Virginia Lee Tharpe.

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brother William C. Tharpe, Jr.

Joanne enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family and friends, she will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life to be held from 1pm-3pm, this Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A.,  313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707.  Light refreshments following at Laurel Volunteer Fire Department 7411 Cherry Lane, Laurel, MD 20707.
