Johanne Vigar Cole

Johanne V. Cole, 82, our beloved mother and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long struggle with COPD on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at her home in Odenton, MD. She was born on July 3, 1940, in Montgomery County, Maryland, to Claude and Louise Vigar. In 1958, she married Jack M. Dalgleish. The marriage ended in divorce but not before having three children, Jack, Jr., Susan (Kennedy) and Stacie, all of whom have survived her. She is also survived by her half-sister, Lorraine (Leishear) Young and her husband, Roger, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707, at 11 am on Monday, October 17, 2022. There will be a Memorial Gathering just before the Service beginning at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Johanne’s name to the American Lung Association at lung.org.
