John "Johnny" Bruce Phelps

John was born alongside his identical twin brother, Charlie Phelps on October 12,1955 to loving parents Robert B. Phelps and Susan M. Donaldson-Phelps. John grew up and spent most of his life living in Savage, Maryland. His work through the years included carpentry, professional painting, and home improvement. John was a born again christian who enjoyed the time he spent at his church. John loved playing guitar, singing and writing music with his brother Charlie and other family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, watching and feeding the birds and deer in the backyard. John loved camping and spending time with his wife Susan, family, and friends. John also enjoyed showing his grandchildren how to shoot his BB guns. John enjoyed the time he spent in Colorado and West Virginia. John was preceded in death by his beloved mother Susan and brother Charlie. Survived by his loving father, Robert Phelps, brothers Perry Phelps and Jeffrey Phelps, and sister Linda Duke. Also survived by his wife, Susan Wise, his children Joshua Phelps{Meghan Phelps}, Jonathan Phelps{Tacy Phelps}, Jennifer Cooch{Billy Cooch}, Jacqueline Phelps{Kevin Ensey},and Jeremy Phelps, step children Thomas Wise{Reyshel Wise}, and Caitlyn Wise. John had an amazing 10 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
