John Moore Kelly, Sr.

John Moore Kelly, Sr. passed away on March 23, 2015 at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was 78. He was born on May 16, 1936 to the late Harold and Pauline Kelly in Takoma Park, MD. He has been a Laurel resident since 1962. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Ham Radio Operator and currently still holds a license. He later worked in the printing industry for 50 years before retiring. He was an avid guitar player. He used to play in a band, church, and at family gatherings. He also enjoyed listening to blue grass music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all five of his siblings. He is survived by his daughter Susan Harrison and her husband David; son John M. Kelly, Jr.; one granddaughter Mandi Saunders and her husband Aaron; and a host of nieces and nephews.
