John Kenneth Peck

John Kenneth Peck, age 85, of Laurel, MD, died Friday, November 21, 2014, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland

Mr. Peck was born on June 15, 1929 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Amos Peck and the late Okley Marie (nee Bonnett) Peck.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Emma Peck and  three daughters; Janet Wilson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Donna Locy of Spring Hill Tennessee and Brenda Hare of Laurel, Maryland.  He was known as Pappy to his 9 grandchildren and his 10 great grandchildren.  John was predeceased by his daughter Tracy Peck.

Mr. Peck served his country in the United States Army as a Sargent First Class in the Korean War. He was a member of various organizations including The American Legion (Post 66), The Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge.  John enjoyed hunting, crabbing, gardening, spending time outside and spending time with his family.

Arrangements were handled by Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD where the family received friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2014.  Funeral service were held at Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
