Joseph Francis Herron

On January 19,2017 Joseph F Herron Jr. “Butch” of Laurel Maryland passed away at the age of 65.

Beloved son of the late Charlotte “Betty’ Herron and Joseph F. Herron Sr.; Devoted Husband to Nancy Herron; and proud and cherished father of Amanda and Danny Herron. He is also survived by 30 loving cousins and 60 plus great cousins. They were more like sisters and brothers to him and hence he never felt he was an only child.

Butch worked over 20 years as a customer service representative at Marriott Int. at their headquarters in Gaithersburg.

He was an amazing father, husband, son, and friend. Always showed compassion for all no matter what walks of life he met you in. He was a Laurel Little League baseball coach for many years and touched the lives of the many people in Laurel, both young and old. He was a big sports fan which brought him the love of the Redskins. He shared that love with most of his family and friends no matter how hard it was at times to root for them. He will be truly missed by all the lives he has touched.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday ,January 29, 2017 at 4pm. At Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
