Joseph Phillip Waters, Jr., a resident of Laurel passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016. He was 83. He was born on April 13, 1932 to the late Joseph and Anita Waters. He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Ann Priscilla Lyon; sister Anita “Snookie” Waters; children Joseph Waters, III., Christine Gompers, John Lyon, Jr., Joseph Lyon, Sherry Dailey, James Lyon, and the late Michael Waters. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 1 pm at MD Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
