Joseph "Joe" Weir

Joseph “Joe” Ludwig Weir, a longtime Laurel resident passed away on November 9, 2015 at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He was 63. He was born on September 8, 1952 to the late Jack and Anne Shuman. He attended Crossland High School in Suitland. He served in the U.S. Navy and was currently working at Nestle Dreyer as a delivery driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bill Weir. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years Susan Weir; children Ali, Zach, Marcus, and Liza Weir; sisters Margie Hoover and her husband Ray and Theresa (Cookie) Ellis and her husband Thomas (Perk) ; grandchildren Arya, Jack, Dexon, Skylar, and Eden; nephews Joshua, Justin, and Walter (Perkie); niece Michelle; and great-niece Abigail.
