Joyce Bargh Hill

Joyce Bargh Hill, 74, formerly of Laurel, passed away peacefully at her home in Catonsville on January 1st, 2013. She was born on April 24th, 1938, to Richard and Mary Bargh of Lancashire, England. She loved traveling to exotic places such as India, Africa, China, Japan and Greece, which she enjoyed with her husband Keith as well as missionary work with her church. Joyce moved to Bermuda as a young woman to become a nanny to a widower with five children, whom she later married, raising his children lovingly as her own, and having a sixth child together. She loved ballroom dancing, Volksmarching, and her outreach work with her church.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, and by her son Sam. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-two years, Keith Sr.; son Richard and wife Gail; daughter Suzanne and husband David; son Jeffrey; son Keith Jr.; son Karl and wife Aimee; grandchildren Morgan, Jordan, Brian, Dylan, Ciara and Aubrey; and by her great-grandchildren Faith, Ethan, Elaina and Emma Rose. Joyce is also survived by her sister, Christine Abbott.

A funeral ceremony will be held at Joyce's church, the Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Laurel at 10755 Scaggsville Road North Laurel 20723 on Saturday January 5th at 10:30 a.m.
