Juan Carlos Oriolo

Juan Carlos Oriolo, 80, of Laurel, Loving Husband, Devoted Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2016 at his home. Born November 6, 1935 in Buenos Aries, Argentina, he was the son of the late Pascual Oriolo and Maria Ursino Oriolo. He was the beloved husband of Amalia Zizzo Oriolo, his wife of 60 years. Brother of Antonio Oriolo and Adalina Oriolo de Aro.  He worked and retired from Hotel maintenance and engineering. Mr. Oriolo enjoyed collecting matchbox and model cars. As a young man he played professional soccer for his home town team, Sportivo Dock Sud,  in Argentina. He enjoyed watching soccer all day long.  Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Daniel Oriolo Sr., Susana Rudd and Beatriz Johnson; Grandchildren, Daniel Oriolo, Jr., Cecilia Oriolo, Heather Oriolo, Christopher Oriolo; Jennifer Stafford, Matthew Rudd, Dylan Johnson and Joseph Johnson; Great Grandchildren Julian Oriolo, Nicholas Oriolo, Keagan Smith and Alessandra Stafford.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Carlos Oriolo will be Thursday, June 2 at St. Mary of the Mills 114 St. Marys Place, Laurel, MD 20707. There will be a viewing from 10:30am- 12:30pm. A mass will follow at 12:30pm. Following mass there will be a procession to Parklawn Memorial 12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853. In lieu of flowers the Oriolo family is accepting donations for a memorial bench in his honor.
