Judith Ann Stickle

Judith Ann Stickle, a resident of Laurel, MD, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at her home. She was 69 years young. Judith was born on November 11, 1949 in New York City, NY and was the daughter of the late John Steffens and Bertha Teleki Steffens. Judith was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

Judith loved numbers and spent her career as a Certified Public Accountant, working as Deputy Director for Finance and Administration in the field of protection and advocacy for individuals with disabilities.

Judith enjoyed visiting the beach, walking and hiking, reading, cross-stitching, crossword puzzles, soduku, and quality time with her family.

Judith is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Richard Stickle, Jr., of Laurel, MD; two loving daughters, Dara Lynn Kolander (Greg) of Elkridge, MD and Danette Ann Babson (John) of Wilmington, NC; three cherished grandchildren, Faith Anne Babson, Nikolaus Raymond and Paige Ilona Kolander; one adorable great grandson, Harrison Kent Miller, a brother, John C. Steffens, a sister, Susan Macomber, and several nieces and nephews.
