On Sunday, June 8, 2014, Julio Cesar De Leon Bran departed this earthly realm into the waiting arms of our Lord. He was born January 10, 1962 to Ms. Ernestina Bran and Rodolfo De Leon, in Guatemala. He was the youngest of four brothers.
The family later moved to Washington D.C., where he spent all of his youth. His first job was at Woodley Supermarket in his teenage years. Then he worked with his older brother and with his father. Later years of his life he took up the trade as an electrician.
He met his wife Janice Brown in January 1980. They finally got married on May 9, 2014. They had 34 wonderful years together. If anyone knew him they knew he had a heart of gold. He loved life and had a happy spirit. He had a special talent for telling jokes. He never told the same joke twice, and he was the life of the party. He also was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan even though he didn't like to watch football. He had a generous heart. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. And if you were hungry he would feed you and that included the neighbor's dog. If you asked him to help you with anything, he would do it, even if he didn't know how he would give it his best shot. He was "Mr. Fix it."
He was preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo De Leon (Sr.)
He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving wife, Janice De Leon; his mother, Ernestina Bran; his son oldest Dominic Noland; his daughters: Jennifer Cross, Ashley McElvaine, and Myra Vetran, and his youngest son, Antonio Brown.
His brothers: Rodolfo De Leon (JR), Marco De Leon, Herbert De Leon, Randy De Leon; his sister, Ana De Leon; his grandchildren: Sahara Tumone, Saniyah Wheeler, Aiden O'Bryant, Cohen Cross, Makayla Davis, and waiting arrival of Jordan Dunham; all his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. And his granddog Brewster.
