Karl C. Hoffman, Jr. passed away on Sunday March 13, 2016 at Shangri-La Assisted Living in Ellicott City, Maryland.
Karl was born November 30, 1930, the son of Karl and Charlotte Hoffman, Sr. in York, PA His family moved to Maryland when he was 3 years old. He attended Hyattsville High School. Karl married Mary Ann Barringer on January 13, 1951 and they were married for 58 years when she passed away in 2009. He and Mary Ann volunteered at the Laurel Regional Hospital. He was an avid sports fan, loving the Washington Redskins and Nationals and liked to watch NASCAR. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Catherine Hinson and her husband Donald, Sharon Gross and her husband Bruce and Donald Hoffman and his wife Mary Anne; his grandchildren, Kelli, Jessica and Jay; great grandchildren, Chayse, Jude and Logan. Also surviving are his brother Richard and several loving nieces and nephews.
