Kathryn Ann Dushole

November 19, 1956 — April 20, 2017

Kathryn Ann DuShole, 60 of Pasadena, MD passed away April 20, 2017 after a valiant fight with cancer.

She was born in 1956 to James Robert McLain and Rose Mary Madison in Fort Meade, MD and was raised in Laurel.

Kathryn graduated from Laurel High School in 1974 and was active with her class. She loved the beach, and was a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. She adopted three rescue dogs, Sophie, Sadie and Sammie, who comforted her during her illness.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Steven and Amy Reis of Crownsville, mother Rose Mary Madison of Columbia, sister Tina Madison of Laurel, half-brothers Roger McLain and Richard McLain of Alabama. Uncles: Larry and wife Donna Lefever of Sharpsburg, Ernest and wife Irene Lefever of Laurel, Robert and wife Linda Lefever of Berkeley Springs, Jerry and wife Lisa Lefever of Frederick, and Michael Lefever of Grantsville. Aunts: Arlene and husband John Rodgers of Martinsburg, Roberta Lefever of Waldorf, Molly Jean and husband Thomas Baublitz of Laurel, and Lisa Harrison of Frederick. Great-aunt Eva Sherman of Laurel.

She was preceded in death by her father James Robert McLain of Montgomery, AL. Paternal grandparents Robert and wife Vera McLain of Alabama. Maternal grandparents Robert and wife Molly Lefever of Laurel.

Visitation services will be Wednesday, April 26 from 6:00-8:00pm and Thursday, April 27 from 10:00-11:00am. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00am in the Donaldson Funeral Home.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
