Kelvin Abdul

Kelvin Abdul, age 68, of Laurel, MD died at his home on Thursday, June 21, 2012. He was born May 29, 1944 in Trinidad, son of the late Ruby (Chase) and Norman Abdul. He is survived by his wife Patricia V. Abdul; children Nicole, Norma, Aiden, Natalie, Tracy, and Clinton; sisters Romain, Lorna, Yvonne, and Dianne; brother Ronald; and sister-in-law of Dorothy Perez. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He moved from Trinidad to New York about 30 years ago, and from New York to Laurel about two years ago. He worked for many years in New York for Sears in the Motor Department. He enjoyed fishing.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at New Life Christian Center, 9844 Mallard Drive, Laurel, MD 20708 from 10-11 a.m. where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
