Kenneth Eugene Greenway

Kenneth Eugene Greenway was born August 25, 1933 to the late John and Alberta Greenway, in Roanoke, VA. He was married to the late Sylvia Greenway. He was a father to the late Garry Greenway (survived by his widow, Maria Greenway-Meehan) and the late Martin Greenway (survived by his widow, Patricia Greenway).
He was a brother to the late John, Geraldine and Dottie, and survived in death by his siblings Bobby and Louise.   He is also survived in death by many grandchildren and great grandchildren: Jennifer Amis, wife of DJ and mother to Rich; Shannon Street, wife of Billy and mother to Alexa and Ryland; Khara Gilmore, wife of Nicky; Brandon Greenway, husband of Stephanie and father to Brandon and Brayden; Angela Jerome, wife of Billy and mother to Alexis and Kane; Marty Greenway, husband of Marsha; Marisa Buckholdt, wife of Kenny and mother to Caiden and Khloe; Kayla Greenway, Breanna Meehan, Sean Greenway, and Lee Meehan.
He served in the United States Air Force, and retired from NIH. He enjoyed attending church with his friend, Pat, hunting, fishing, camping and swapping stories with family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
In lieu of flowers we ask donations be made in honor of Sylvia to breast cancer research. Donations can also be made to diabetes or heart disease research.
