Kimberly Jane Puckett

March 7, 1964 — February 21, 2026

Laurel

Kimberly Jane Puckett, affectionately known as Kim, was a vibrant soul whose journey came to an unexpected close on February 21, 2026, just weeks shy of her 62nd birthday. Born on March 7, 1964, in Annapolis, Kim lived a life bursting with passion, adventure, and love.

Kim was best known for her time at Harley Davidson, where she not only excelled in sales but also took on the role of mentor to many, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm generously. Her career path painted a portrait of versatility—whether she was driving Beet Trucks, participating in Demolition Derbies, working as a waitress or tackling the challenges of running a leather business and a bail bonds company in Grand Forks. She even dedicated time to serve as a Correctional Officer in Grand Forks County.

Graduating from Queen Anne High School in 1982, Kim moved through life with an adventurous heart, having lived in North Dakota, Maryland, and Virginia, where her love for riding motorcycles flourished. She had an unmistakable zest for life, and it was this zest that endeared her to friends and family alike. Kim's personality was vibrant, her laughter contagious, and her memories shared will be forever cherished.

Kim's love for her family was deepened through small acts of love, like her famous tater tot hot dish made especially for her favorite son, Justin, and her cherished broccoli chicken surprise and macaroni salad prepared lovingly for Connie. These family gatherings were not mere meals; they were celebrations of love and warmth, woven together by an unbreakable bond.

Kim was not only a loving family member but also a devoted dog mother to four beloved doodles: Annie, Colt, Daisy, and Harley. Her passions extended to thrifting and antique collecting, often turning a casual outing into a treasure hunt. No collection was too small or too quirky for Kim, who found beauty in the unique stories behind her finds. She had an endearing obsession with Christmas, filling her home with cheer and tradition each year.

In every aspect of her life, whether by indulging in her favorite pastimes of playing bingo, getting tattoos, or simply enjoying old films like 'Gone with the Wind', she lived a million lives all wrapped up into one that embraced adventure and joy.

A proud mother, Kim is survived by her beloved son, Justin Rolle (Lauren), her daughters: Constance Gelinas and Kaitlin Simmons-Leigh (Andre Caneiro), her six cherished grandchildren: Tisha Gelinas, Taryn Gelinas, Timothy Rogers, Kylie Rolle, Emma Rolle, and Jack Rolle; her daughter-in-law, Autumn Rogers; and three great-grandchildren: Jeremy Rogers, Cayson Rogers, and Eleanor Rogers. Kim is also survived by her parents: Jack McCloy, Jr. and Barbara Lowman McCloy; her sister, Pamela Startt (Chris); niece, Lauren "Pookie" Hubbard; and nephew, Logan Hubbard.

Kim goes on to be with her husband, Charles Owen Puckett, after only losing him such a short time ago.

Kim's family invites all who knew and loved her to celebrate her remarkable journey at the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel located in Laurel, Maryland. A Memorial Gathering will take place on March 7, 2026, starting at 5:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM, where the family invites time to share stories and memories of Kim.

In this time of sorrow, we find solace in knowing that Kim is at peace. She will forever be remembered for the light she brought into our lives and the bonds she created. May her spirit continue to live on in our hearts, guiding us with love and compassion.
