Laudis Allen Turney

Laudis A. Turney, Jr., son of Laudis and Sara (nee Harris) Turney. Born on November 5, 1946 and passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the age of 67.

Laudis graduated from Laurel High School in 1964 and attended the University of Maryland for 2 years before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He served aboard the USS William R. Rush, (D.D. 714). While onboard the "Rush" he visited Istanbul, Turkey and Kavalla Greece during the Suez Canal crisis in 1967.

Laudis Worked for The Life Star Response Company of Baltimore for 40 years as a bookkeeper.

Laudis is survived by his parents; Laudis, Sr. and Sara Turney and a brother Richard Turney. He is preceded in death by his brother Stephen Turney.
