Lillian Mae (Blaszkiewicz) Knight "Nannie"

Lillian Mae Knight, 85, passed away at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD on Monday, February 24, 2020.

Ms. Knight was born in 1934 in Queens, NY, from where she relocated and settled in Silver Spring, MD for over 50 years.  During that time, she met and married her husband, Eugene Knight, with whom she raised a family and together they owned a successful cleaning business until their retirement.  Ms. Knight was an avid gardener who enjoyed cultivating all types of flowers.  She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and was known by her friends as “the Puzzle Lady.”

Ms. Knight is predeceased by her husband Eugene, her daughter Carol Jones and her friend and companion of ten years, Bobby Yeager.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Carlson (the late Rheinold Carlson); grandson Brian Mills (Julie); great-grandchildren, Elliot, Nolan and Liza; siblings, Patricia Duvall, Joanne Parton, Phil Seibel and Becky Arrowood; also, son-in-law Raymond Mills (known as “Pops”).

A beloved matriarch and loving woman, Ms. Knight will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
