Lillian Milstead

Lillian Milstead, beloved wife of the late Earl E. Milstead, Jr., passed away on August 28, 2014. Mrs. Milstead was born in Fulton, on January 23, 1927, to the late James and Elsie Connell. She was employed by the Howard County Board of Education as a secretary. She was an active member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school, worked with the youth group and sang in the choir. Mrs. Milstead is survived her children Joni (Mike) Fry, Sue (Dave) Remson, Laura (Tim) Vallor and Robert (Catherine) Milstead. She is also survived by her grandchildren Meagan, Maria, Danielle, Olga, Kelly, Nick, Travis, Clara, Madelyn, Luci and Steven. A visitation will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, on Monday September 1. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, beginning at 10 am, at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church followed by interment in the church cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Lillian's name.
