Lucille Miles

Vada “Lucille” Liskey Miles, age 82, passed away in Silver Spring, MD on January 3rd, 2023.

Born 1940 in Harrisonburg, VA, daughter of John Floyd and Vada Marie (Rhinehart) Liskey. She lived in Burtonsville, MD her entire life, graduated from Sherwood High School, and worked at Epiphany Lutheran and Ashton Methodist Churches. She was also a small business owner of the Craft and Frame Corner for over 20 years. Lucille was a founding member and active volunteer at Epiphany Lutheran Church. She will always be remembered for her lifelong love of crafts, playing games, entertaining, and celebrating holidays with friends and family.

Lucille is survived by her husband Carl, children Dennis (Cathy), Sharon (Dan), son-in-law Jack, Ronald (Hope), Roger (Nicole), and Suzanne; grandchildren Brody, Sara Vada, Ryan, Jenn, Taylor, Caitlin, Chris, Natalie, Ethan, Harrison, Jenna, Lexi, Caiden, and Rhyder; three great grand-daughters, Sophia, Sasha, and Samantha; sister Rachel, and brother John. She was preceded in death by her daughter Darlene, daughter-in-law Lindsey Miles, sister Clara, brother Eugene, and her parents.

Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-11am on Saturday, January 14th 2023 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Burtonsville, MD. Memorial Service immediately following the visitation at 11am.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the National MS Society, or the Epiphany Lutheran Church Fellowship Fund.
