Luz Maria Torres Vega, 75, of Laurel, MD passed away on March 12, 2018. She was born on November 29, 1942 to Damaso Torres and Camila Vega in Naguado, Puerto Rico. Lucy was a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church for 15 years. She retired from Berstone Knitting Company. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading novels, and giving her husband Eugenio a hard time.

Lucy is survived by her husband Eugenio Tirado, her sons Hector “Tito" Santana and Juan Ramos, sisters Lucrecia and Nilsa, grandkids Armando, Connie, David, Angelica, Angeline, Amanda, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Iris, son Angel, brothers Saul Torres, and Efrain Torres.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place at Resurrection of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church Saturday at 9:00am.
