Mabel Ellinger

Mabel Ellinger, a longtime resident of Laurel, passed away on November 7, 2016 at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Columbia. She was 86. She was born on August 19, 1930 to the late Lucian and Mamie Minnick in Maryland. She attended Laurel High School. She enjoyed going to work every day. She worked at Thermolink for 20 years, Montgomery Wards, and Weis Markets in Laurel where she finally retired. She also enjoyed watching TV and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Harry Ellinger, Jr.; and 9 siblings. She was 1 of 14 children. She is survived by her loving children Patricia Ann Reedy, Linda Sue Adams, and Harry Loyde Ellinger; and siblings Ethel, Joan, Nora, and Joseph. She is cherished by her grandchildren Michelle, Dawn, Butch, Crystal, Mindy, Glen, Jr., Casey, Brandy, Jesey, and Dusty; and great-grandchildren Wesley, Brandon, Megan, Adam, Jada, Gabriel, Brookelyn, Haley, Jase, Kyle, and Jordan.
