Marcia Lynne Glasser

On March 27, 2016 Marcia L. Glasser (nee Pettigrew) passed away both peacefully and unexpectedly at her residence in Laurel, Md. Born in Iowa on May 28, 1937, Marcia spent most of her life in Ashton, Md as a home maker and caregiver for her family. She enjoyed reading, playing games and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Her unconditional love to her family will be missed. She was the beloved mother of Scott Glasser (Kathy), Kevin Glasser (Colleen), Robin Eisel, Eric Glasser ( Mary); loving grandmother of Julia Glasser, Amber and Kyle Glasser, Judson, Haley, Hunter, Nicholas and Austin Eisel, Abigail and Hannah Glasser and great grandmother of Colton and Lucas; dear sister of Rebecca Eckfeld and the late Priscilla Batch, and 7 nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the Chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, PA. 313 Talbott Avenue Laurel, Maryland 20707 on Saturday from 10 until 11 am at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment to follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to a charity of choice as Marcia was such a giving person.
