Margaret Dickson Gebhardtsbauer

Our lives are forever changed with the passing of our beloved mother, Margaret Dickson Gebhardtsbauer.  Born April 13, 1923, in Glenside, PA, a sweet, loving, pretty, young redhead of Scottish decent.  She moved several times throughout her life, ending up at Leisure World in Silver Spring, MD, with her husband of 56 years.  She is pre-deceased by our father, Robert Gebhardtsbauer (2006) and survived by her children, Ron Gebhardtsbauer of State College, PA; Scott Gebhardtsbauer of Gaithersburg, MD; Meg Gebhardtsbauer Mahoney of Olney, MD; and her grandchildren, Alan Gebhardtsbauer of Blacksburg, VA; Marcelo Arce of North Myrtle Beach, SC; and Kim Gebhardtsbauer of Silver Spring, MD.

Mom was an independent thinker and wonderful conversationalist.  Loved and cherished by her family, friends, and pet cat, Puccini.  She enjoyed spending her time drawing, painting, playing the organ, composing poetry and music, playing golf and tennis, studying medical journals, listening to opera (particularly Kiri Te Kanawa), watching Redskin’s football, tracking her investments, watching the news, and most especially, raising her kids and grandkids.

She will be so dearly missed by us all!
