Margie Ann Carson

Margie Ann Carson, age 80, passed away on Saturday March 4, 2017 at the Cherry Lane Nursing Center in Laurel, MD.
Margie was born on April 7, 1936 in Appalachia, VA to the late Charley Collins and the late Ettie (nee Williams) Collins. She was raised in Appalachia and lived there until moving with her husband, Edward Raymond Clevenger, and children to Suitland, MD. Margie was a homemaker until her children got a little older and then enrolled in theLa Continental Beauty Acadamey. She remained at the La Continenetal Beauty Academy as an instructor for many years until retiring in 1984.
Margie’s first husband passed away in 1973 and she remarried Gustov “Gus” Carson in 1989. After marrying Gus she moved from Suitland to Bladensburg, MD. After marrying Gus she became active in the VFW Ladies Auxillary and the Fleet Reserve.
Margie is survived by her daughters, Teresa Clevenger and Sherry Clevenger her sister Rachel Isaacs, brother Charley Collins and niece Susan Collins Suits. She was preceded in death by her parents, two spouses and a grandchild Christopher Lee Boyd.
