MARIA PEREZ VAZQUEZ

Maria was called home on Sunday, September 13, 2015.  She was born in Havana, Cuba where she was the Director of Dietary and Nutrition at the largest hospital in Havana.  She came to the United States in 1990 and immediately came to live in Laurel, MD with the rest of the family.  She helped in taking care of her elderly Mother, Blandina along with her Sister, Nieves and worked as an administrative clerk at Ritz Camera until she was laid off in 2008.  She is survived by her Brother in Law Jose, her Sister Gloria still living in Cuba, her Godson Amed and three nephews, Gustavo and wife Kathleen, Jorge, and Eduardo and wife Vicky.  She was a faithful and devoted member of Saint Nicholas Catholic Church in Laurel, MD.  Maria was very loved by all that knew her and she will be missed by all her family and friends.
