Marie Anne Fincham

Marie Anne (Marrianne) Fincham, age 58, of Westminster, MD, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Dove House of Carroll County Hospice in Westminster, MD.

Marrianne was born and raised in Laurel, MD and attended St. Mary's School through 8th grade before attending Atholton High School, graduating in 1973. Marriainne worked at Gino's and McDonalds after High School before moving on to work at Rixon in Silver Spring. After leaving Rixon she started working at the Post Office. She continued with the United States Post Office, mainly in Savage, MD for over 25 years before retiring in mid 2000's. After retiring from the Post Office, Marrianne started a Maltese breeding business.

Marianne was the daughter of the late Alexander Leakan and the late Barbara Leakan. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tom Fincham, her daughter Melissa Blevins and her husband Shawn. Marrianne also leaves behind her four brothers; Tony Leakan, Lex Leakan, III, Jim Leakan and David Leakan, Sr.. She is also survived by two grandchildren Nick and Daniel Blevins and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD. Funeral service will be at St. Mary of The Mills Roman Catholic Church 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, MD 20707 beginning at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
