Mary Kay Dacy

November 9, 1961 — February 15, 2021

Mary Katherine, (Mary Kay,) Dacy, entered heaven on February 15, 2021, to be with her mother and older sister. Mary Kay was the daughter of James P. Dacy and the late Catherine Dacy. Mary Kay was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on November 09, 1961.

Mary Kay was a very energetic person who loved to be with family and friends, especially at Providence Center. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to bowl with HAP, crafting hook rugs, doing word searches, and playing the card game of peanuts with her sisters, nieces, and nephews. Her favorite TV shows included the Brady Bunch, Full House, Wheel of Fortune, and I love Lucy.

She is survived by her father; sisters Kathleen Miller, Karen Jeffers, Karolyn Dacy, Pauline Chase, and Patsy Fisher; four brothers-in-law and 21 nieces and nephews. Her sister Kristine preceded her in death. Mary Kay will be truly missed by everyone who knew her and her humorous outlook on life.

Donations in Mary Kay’s honor may be made to the Providence Center and The Arc of Central Chesapeake Region.
