Mary Larkins

Mary Nancy Lee Larkins, nee Robison, of Burtonsville, MD left this earth May 30, 2019.

She was 76 years of age and passed away after a short illness, surrounded by her adoring family.

She was born in 1943 to James and Bertha Robison in Baltimore Maryland, where she spent her childhood among many close friends and family.

She married at 18 and made a life with her love of 58 years, USAF LTC James T. Larkins. As an Air Force bride, she moved throughout the country, running the household and caring for their four children, Carol Maldoven, Janet Cameron, Susanne Larkins and Thomas Larkins.

Mary’s many new and long-time friends will miss her kind and generous heart and infectious smile. She loved travelling with Jim and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Among other activities, Mary enjoyed her volunteer work at church and the nursing home where she spread joy to friends and strangers alike.

Mary is survived by her husband, four children, and six grandchildren: Nicholas, Mackenzie and Rachel Cameron; Holden and Garrett Maldoven; and Derek Larkins. She will also be missed by sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elaine and Art Bennett, son-in-law Bob Maldoven, and daughter-in-law Carole Larkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and James Robison.

Visitation will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home in Laurel, MD June 4, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Burtonsville, MD and a reception will follow in the church hall. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetary at a later date.
