Mary S. Morgan

Mary S. Morgan (Mary Joe), age 84, died Monday, December 2, 2013, at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. Mary Joe was a longtime resident of Laurel, MD, most recently living at the Riderwood Community in Silver Spring, MD.

Mary Joe spent her entire career with the National Security Agency Signals Intelligence Directorate and its predecessor agency. Mary Joe retired from NSA after 38 years of service.

Mrs. Morgan attended the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1951

She was the daughter of the late Eugene Smart and the late Edith (nee Hendrickson) Smart

Mrs. Morgan was the widow of William H. Morgan.

Funeral services were held at Donaldson Funeral Home at 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2013. Interment was at Maryland National Memorial Park, Laurel, MD
