Maysie Clarke

Maysie Clarke, 101, born in Kingston, Jamaica, passed away February 19, 2019.  She was born in 1917 to Edwin Rogers Clarke and Vera Belle Clarke in Kingston, Jamaica.  Maysie was a member of St. Mary of the Mills Church in Laurel, MD.  She retired from the New York Public Library.  She enjoyed watercolor painting, cooking, entertaining, reading romance novels, and following politics on a daily basis.  She is survived by a myriad of family members (Clarkes, Sadlers, Prentises, Martins and Knuffs.)  She was preceded in death by her sisters Dolly Sadler, Joyce Clarke, and Gloria Bloomfield and her brother Jack Clarke.
