Melvina "Vi" Culler

Vina Dean “Vi” Culler 88 of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away July 8, 2019.

She was born in 1931 to Harold and Lucille (Hayden) Garwood in Kirksville, Missouri

Vi was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, where she sang in the Choir and enjoyed being with her church family, Burtonsville Players, Blanket Buddies, and loved playing bridge with her friends. She volunteered for 15 years at the Montgomery General Hospital.

Vi loved crafts and crocheting, crocheting hundreds of baby blankets and baby hats, which she donated to various hospitals. This gave her great joy.

Vi is survived by sister, Nancy (Gary) Luman. Niece Lori (Randy) King, nephews Michael Luman, Stephen (Amy) Luman.  Special nephew, Carl Culler. Numerous great nieces and nephews.  Special caregiver and friend Laurie Becraft

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roland (Buzz) Culler, son Alan Culler.

Visitaiton will be on Friday July 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the Epiphany Lutheran Church, 14411 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville, MD 20866. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Donaldson Funeral Home P.A. 313 Talbott Ave. Laurel, MD.
