Merritt Linwood Minnick, 75, of Clarksville, MD, husband of Charlotte Minnick, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 in Montgomery County.
Born January 31, 1941, in Montgomery County to the late James and Agnes (Wolfrey) Minnick. He was a semi-retired HVAC technician. He was the owner of Superior Energy Systems and Merit-Air, Inc. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending the winters in Florida.
He graduated from Sherwood High School in 1959 and was a member of the National Guard for 6 years. He is a former member of Burtonsville Baptist Church.
He married Charlotte Lorraine Ramsburg on September 18, 1965 in Laurel, MD. They were married for 50 years. He is survived by his son James Minnick of Hurst, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Andrew Hagemaster of West Point, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and William Wilson of Buckeye, AZ; son Charles Minnick and girlfriend Kelly Barnes of Marriottsville, MD; brother and sister-in-law, David and Candy Minnick of Middletown, MD; Stepfather Louis Tate of Mineral, VA; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews and 1 niece.
