Michael R. Clark

Michael R. Clark, age 69, passed away peacefully in Laurel, MD, on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Born June 9, 1953, in Cheverly, MD, son of Robert and Percilla (Hauser) Clark, Mike was preceded in death by both his parents.  He is survived by his sister (Debbie) and a host of loving family and friends.  He worked for the David Taylor Model Basin developing ship design and later for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration working in space research until retiring in 2016.  Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in structural engineering from the University of Maryland and his Master of Science degree from the George Washington University.  He will be remembered for a heart as big as the outdoors and for his love of playing bass guitar in several bands over the years.
