Michael Charles Foder

Michael Charles Foder passed away on December 31, 2015 at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.
He was born on January 29, 1956. The late Joe and Edna Foder had the pleasure of being his parents. He attended Atholton High School and graduated in 1974. Michael served his country in the United States Marines upon graduation. Later, he served as a Howard County Police Officer. As a police officer, he received many accolades. He was a member of the American Legion and served as Commander for three consecutive years.
Michael is survived by his wife, Anita (nee Wivell) of 22 years and two sons, John M. Rutan and wife, Erica, and Joseph W. Rutan; three grandchildren, Kaden, Avi and Bela; and a large extended family.
Family and friends are invited to gather for wake services on Thursday, January 7th from 4 - 6 pm (Rosary at 4:30), and a Memorial Mass on Friday, January 8th at 11 am, both at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church in Laurel. Kindly refrain from floral arrangements.
