Michael Wade

Michael Paul Wade, a resident of Laurel, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 4, 2017. He was 58. He was born on January 6, 1958 to the late Richard and Helen (Fox) Wade in Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Parkdale High School in Riverdale Park and a member of Community United Methodist Church in Laurel. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spelunking, rappelling, hiking, fishing, gardening, and camping. He retired after30 years from Valid Electric, IBEW Local 26.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Julia Hamby Wade, daughter Kamaryn Hamby; siblings Richard Wade, Carolyn Simpson, Alice Wade, Cecilia Puglisi, Stephen Wade and David Wade; and granddaughter Laylah Pullins. He is also survived by a large family of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Wildlife Conservation Network, Therapeutic Animal Partners or Community United Methodist Church.
