Michelle Lynn Lawson

Michelle Lynn Lawson, 35, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away August 30, 2019.

Michelle was born in 1983 to James Vincent Norsworthy and Deborah Ann Norsworthy, nee Ezekiel, at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Michelle was a home school graduate of the New Life Christian Academy of Richmond, Virginia.  After graduating, she worked as a white water rafting guide on the New and Gauley River in Beckley, West Virginia.  She was a former member of Laurel Volunteer Fire Department, Station 10, Laurel, Maryland.

Michelle was employeed as a Financial Analyst at Culinary Services Group, Westminster, Maryland.

Michelle loved her new puppy, Dallas Rose and had her enrolled in bi-weekly training classes at K-9 Buddies for the past 6 months.  She loved crabbing and racing with her husband, Howard.  But, mostly, she loved being with family and was a friend to everyone she met.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Howard Eugene Lawson; daughter, Samantha Annamae Lawson; grandchildren, Carver Eugene Parham and Harper Lee Parham; her parents, James (Jim) Vincent Norsworthy and Deborah (Debbie) Ann Norsworthy, nee Ezekiel; brothers and sisters, James Vincent and wife, Amanda Marie Norsworthy, Matthew David and wife, Jessica Lauren Norsworthy, Timothy Jeremiah Norworthy, Rachel Leigh and husband, David Isaac Miller, Caleb John Norsworthy, Micah Joseph Norsworthy, Alice Jordan Norsworthy, Hannah Grace Norsworthy, Valeria (Lera) Angel Norsworthy; nieces and nephews, Mikayla Kathryn, Christian James, Myah Lynae, Skylar Payton, Macey Leilani, Rayne Naomi, Maliyah Lilliana, Gideon Liam; grandmothers, Rachel Maxine Norsworthy, nee Liskey and Alice Faye Ezekiel, nee Worthington; and other loving extended family and friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Richard Caroll Norsworthy and David Robert Ezekiel, and uncle Joseph Harold Ezekiel.

Friends will be received on Thursday September 5, 2019 10:30 AM to until the time of Service at 12:30 PM at the Hope Baptist Church, 8801 Stephens Road, Laurel, Maryland 20723

Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, Maryland 21784
