Mildred E. Ammann

Mildred Elizabeth Barnes Ammann, 82, a longtime resident of Laurel died
May 27, 2016 at NHS Health Care, in Sumter, SC.
She was born March 26, 1934 in Calhoun Falls, SC of the late Joseph and
Bessie (Stephens) Barnes. She moved to D.C. in the 1950's. She was a member of
the Laurel Rescue Squad and worked at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics
Laboratory in Howard County.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years William S. Ammann,
her brothers Billy and Bobby Barnes, and her step daughter Wendy Fiedler.
She is survived by her step son Hal Ammann of Burtonsville, Son in Law
John Fiedler and grandchildren Jonny Fiedler, Chris Ammann, Roc Sansotta, and
Steven Ammann.
Visitation is on Thursday June 2 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Donaldson
Funeral Home 313 Talbott Ave. Laurel MD. Funeral is to be held at Ivy Hill
Cemetery in Laurel, MD at 11:00 AM on Friday June 3, 2016. Rev. Warren
Litchfield will officiate.
