Minnie May (Jenkins) Mcinnis

Minnie May McInnis 98, of College Park, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 26, 2016 at her home.
She was born in 1918 to Laurence L. and Alice (Kirby) Jenkins in Prince George’s County Maryland.
Minnie is survived by a daughter Prudence V. Shinn, MD; two sisters, Pearl Foster, MD; and Alice Wiley, MD; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Lewis Talmadge McInnis, and a son Robert Lee “Sonny” Merson.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home P.A., 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel MD 20707. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in Union Cemetery.
