Nancy Lee Sterling Clark was born in Washington, DC on July 25, 1951. She was a graduate of Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. Nancy was a bold and caring woman with a heart as big as the sky and.....more. Her strength and huge heart touched countless lives and she was a counselor to all. She was definitely the matriarch and protector of her family. She wore many hats and was a mom and friend to many. She leaves behind her loving mother Thelma Betty Sterling, her husband of 44 years, Gregory (Pepper) Clark who was always by her side, her two grandchildren Devin and Zoie that were her pride and joy, She raised them as her own and held them very close to her heart. Her best furry friend, her dog Kiba. Her 7 siblings she loved unconditionally Linda, Cathy, Eddie, Greg, Mike, Roger and Pam. Her children Tabatha (Jason), Niki (Terrell) , Carla (Steven), Stacy, Lisa (Corey) and the late Deneen Clark and Gregory Clark Jr.; She also left behind 14 grandchildren DJ (Ariana), Courtney, Sabrina, Isaiah, Rayven, Arrion, Amaya, Demi, Jordyn, Jada, Dylan, Jaliyah, Chloe  and the late Chase Parham and Layla Boddie. Her 3 great-grand children Chelsea, Kaylee and DJ (Poppa) Jr. and one on the way who Nana could not wait to meet Londyn'. A host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly. Nana was so many things to so many people. She was a FORCE to be reckoned with as she worked in the Emergency Rooms of Suburban Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital. Nana was THE MAYOR of EVERY community and THE Neighborhood Watch, nothing got past her. Nana passed on from this life suddenly to be with her beloved father, Edward (PapPap) Sterling, on November 22, 2019. We know that she is watching and will continue to keep watch over us.
