Nancy Jean Dixon

Nancy Jean Dixon, 67, died January 30, 2012 at her residence. She has been a Laurel resident since 1979. She was born on February 7, 1944 to the late Charles Edward and Ruth Rebecca Lugar. She was a graduate of Montgomery Blair High School in 1962 and received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland. She worked for Howard County Public Schools as a bookkeeper and retired in June 2011.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years Tom Dixon; children Stacy Cashmark and her husband Bill, Scott Dixon, Mark Dixon and his wife Alex , Dale Dixon and Erin Hobbs who she thought of as a daughter; sister Linda Lugar and grandchildren Cody and Casey Cashmark.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 6-9 pm at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice of Howard County, 5537 Twin Knolls Road, Suite 434, Columbia, MD 21045.
