Nancy Janoske Keogh, 73, of Maryland passed away on February 2, 2022. Nancy was born on December 9, 1948 in Laurel, Maryland to William and Cecilia Janoske. A graduate of St. Vincent Pallotti High School, Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross, and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
During her career, Nancy led the procurement divisions at both the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission. After retiring, Nancy travelled, spent time with her family and spoiled her grandchildren rotten. Imbued with resilience and grit, selfless with her time, and invested in a better tomorrow for others, Nancy was a mentor and role model to countless family, friends, and colleagues.
Survived by daughters Maureen Keogh, Bridget (Keogh) Berardino, son-in-law Robert Berardino, grandson Sean Berardino, granddaughter Colleen Berardino, sister Judy (Janoske) Curtis, brothers Howard and Gary Janoske, sisters-in-law Debra Wertheimer, Barbara (Wiley) and Diane (Frischkorn) Janoske, brother-in-law Guy Curtis, and many favorite nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Michael Keogh, parents William and Cecilia Janoske, siblings Ronald Janoske and Jane (Janoske) Athey, brother-in-law James Keogh and nephew Phillip Athey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Donaldson Funeral Home P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, Maryland 20707. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Mills Catholic Church, 114 St. Mary’s Place, Laurel, Maryland 20707.
