Naomi Lee Burton, 89, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness.

She was predeceased by her husband William "Bill" Burton of 65 years, her daughter Linda Williams and her daughter Donna Simms. She is survived by her 4 sons, William Jr, Lee, Russell and Robert, as well as, 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

She was born in Fort Monroe, VA on Dec. 17, 1932. She married Bill on May 18, 1951 and the they raised 6 children in Laurel, MD on Burton's Lane. After the kids were grown, she and Bill moved to Easton, MD where she worked at the Easton Library. They moved to Calvert County and after Bill's passing she moved to assisted living in Murrells Inlet, SC.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Union Cemetery, Burtonsville, MD.
