Donaldson’s Funeral Home announces the funeral arrangements for Nicholas Michael Serafino, 25, who passed away on August 5, 2015. Nicholas was born on October 19, 1989 in Laurel, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marie Serafino, his maternal grandfather, Stanley Clark, an Uncle, Ron Serafino. Nicholas is survived by his parents Nick and Elaine Serafino, a brother, Greg Serafino; grandfather Ignatius Serafino; grandmother Betty Cramer; Four Aunts Cindy Fritsch, Donna Clark, Cathy & Husband Lee Brewer, and Charlotte & Husband James Bethany and Uncle, Jason Cramer. Nine cousins Eric, Brandon, Jason, David, Chester, Anthony, Angela, Daniel, and Lisa also survive.
Nicholas was a proud employee of Food Lion in Laurel for the past two years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching football with his Dad. He was extremely helpful around the house, always willing to go the extra mile to assist in whatever way he could. Nicholas was a caring and giving young man who enjoyed the company of his younger cousins and never missed an opportunity to utilize his computer skills, especially when helping someone else. He became known by his friends as “Mr. Smiley” while a teenager, due to his infectious smile and pleasant personality.
Memorial services were conducted on Sunday August, 9 2015 in the chapel of Donaldson’s Funeral Home with the Reverend Chester L. Proctor, IV officiating. Interment services followed on Monday August 10, 2015 at St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
