Oliver F. "Bear" Hanvey, Jr., 66, of Laurel passed away on May 9, 2014. He was born on February 22, 1948 to the late Oliver and Catherine Hanvey in Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Thelma Lowery. He is survived by his children Anthony Hanvey and his wife Sheila of Purcellville, VA and Lisa Hanvey of Winchester, VA; siblings Cathy Pugh and Lee Hanvey; and grandsons Ryan and Justin Hanvey. He was a veteran and served in the Army National Guard.
