Opal Mae Pearson, age 83, of Jessup, MD. Born March 26, 1928 in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Laura (Carpenter) and Stoke Brooks. She was the loving wife for 65 years of Blev B. Pearson and loving mother of Wanda (Harry-"Butch") Shaver, Clayton (Gena) Pearson, and Kay (David) Foster. Also survived be 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Michael Stansbury.
Relatives and friends may call at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment Ivy Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
